ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY IN PLACE / DISRESPECT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
We provide a friendly, professional and polite service and have done for 25 years
To hand over a dog knowing it's not healthy, has major behavioral issues, it's not fully house trained, it's problematic, destructive, temperamental etc is downright dishonest and not acceptable we do not get involved in such cases such dogs are not re-homeable
If we decide to as to help you in an urgent case and you dishonestly did not tell us the full truth about your dog you will lose half of your re-homing fee which will obviously go towards administration work and we will obviously reject your dog as standard practice.
However if you feel this is unfair you can contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau we will not tolerate threats, abuse or any malicious behavior if you have a dog that's not right your best bet is to take it to a vet.

Hi! to re-home a dog with Leicestershire Dogs you must be a member and prepared to work with us! The moment you go off radar and don't deliver what we've requested whether its photos, completing application form or paying admin fee if we are kept waiting with no explanation your application will be rejected and you will be blocked and deleted as standard practice
We do not take on dogs like we used to therefore for us to help in re-homing one regardless of size it will cost you a one off admin fee of £150 £135 with free membership that's if it's an emergency situation and if we decide to take your case, the admin fee must be paid upfront the other option is to keep the dog, act as foster and we do the donkey work which will cost you a one off admin fee of £80 £72 with free membership all dogs go to new homes with 4 weeks free pet insurance.

THIS IS NOT A FREE SERVICE
Under no circumstances will we take on a dog that goes for people them days are long gone. Back in the the day as a professional trainer behaviorist I would of tried to correct the behavior of aggressive dogs I now believe after 40 years it's best to put that dog down.
Being mauled and killed by a dog sounds terrible so I think it's downright irresponsible to re-home an aggressive dog and i'm a 100% dog lover a truthful one.
Dangerous dogs

hostile or aggressive dogs
As a professional /qualified trainer behaviorist of 40 years I personalty think dogs with aggression or aggression issues should not be handed over to anyone and should be put down it is downright irresponsible to try and re-home such a dog you should take it to the vet as a dangerous dog.
Dogs that have a history of acting aggressively towards people should not be re-homed. Even if the dog acts aggressively towards children but does well with older people, the dog should not be re-homed for the simple fact that it is a liability.
Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (as amended 1997)
The DDA prohibits certain types of dogs and allowing a dog of any type to be dangerously out of control in a public place or a private place where it is not allowed to be. The law also provides for such dogs to be seized.
